PPP and Had a Great Fall...

So Friday, our quiz really ended up being throw the hacky sack around and take turns answering questions orally using vocab... No problema. We had class all day at Evan's and then afterwards, we all wanted to do something active. We ended up playing hacky sack in the center of town. Our group loves laughter so much. Someone said something funny and then Patty laughed so hard she peed her pants. Hilarious and thus, PPP aka Patty Pee Pants. We also bought a bball and played until some locals kind of kicked us off the court to play soccer.

Then Saturday, we had class from 8 till 12 and then immediately left for lunch and fun in Antigua. We had a delicious, somewhat expensive for our budget, American lunch with drinks and then shopped/walked around all day. I ended up buying some house shoes that are already wearing out. We always have to be back to our host communities by dark. This is a new rule by headquarters for trainees. We all feel like we are back in junior high and without freedom. When we got back to town, I forgot that I had left my stuff at Evan's. Usually Patty and I get off the bus at my house which is long after Bri and Evan's stop. Well I noticed Patty was getting off the bus but just a little too late. I jumped up and tried to open the emergency back door (which they use here regularly), which didn't quite open until the bus had started going. I made a rash decision and jumped....ending with me laid out in the middle of the street. It was pretty hilarious. I think the group was in disbelief for a while that I did it. I realize now it was pretty stupid and I could have broken a bone. Thankfully I just scratched my ankle. Oh well...

When I got home, I was in a goofy mood and ended up doing a fashion show to show off my new shoes. They all loved it and we goofed off with that for a while. Then dinner and I went to bed. A group of people are going to Pacaya tomorrow, but everyone from my town has decided we would much rather sleep in!
