So when I came to my site, my counterpart showed me a promotional video that one of the organizations that works with the cooperative, Anacafe, made with funds from USAid. Well, I thought it was a great video and we should use it all the time. I asked my counterpart how they are currently using the video. She told me if they go to a tourism convention at a hotel or are giving a presentation about the Coffee Tour that they use the video too. Well that just wasn't good enough for me. I have made an account for Coffee Tour Chicoj on Youtube. We currently only have the spanish version of the video, but I understand someone has one in German and English. Also, during swear in week I believe they came back and made a new promotional video like this one. We'll just add videos to our account as we acquire more. We are currently working on another project of getting a website up with another organization, Counterpart International. Soon we will be all over the web!!! That's usually how backpackers and other tourists plan trips so hopefully we will grow our numbers, increasing revenue, allowing us to do more other projects.....WOO HOO
(Oh yeah, forgot to mention it took 8 hours to upload this video of 5 minutes....oh well, totally worth it)
