Oh man.... I just wrote this huge blog post and just lost. Can't bring myself to rewrite it in such detail...so long story short: my host family here called me last night and said they had a surprise for me when I got home. When I came home today, I found out they painted the outside and inside of my house green! What an awesome birthday present!! I'm so excited.
Also, not doing my Earth Day activity with the school tomorrow because the students won't be there. We're doing the activity next Tuesday instead. Patience and flexibility is key in the Peace Corps.
I don't have anymore cell phone minutes but I'm trying to hold out for a triple day, where you get triple the minutes for the price of single minutes. So now all I have to communicate is the internet. We have queqchi classes this afternoon and then I'll share in the excitement of my painted house with the family when I get home!!
