Time is a Flying....

Alright this is just a short update to let you all know that I have posted some new pictures from my Thanksgiving trip to Rio Dulce/Livingston, Guatemala. I don't have a camera that is working right now so these are pictures are thanks to Amber, a fellow PC volunteer and friend. You can check them out in my album Peace Corps 2. This Thanksgiving holiday was the first one in my life to spend apart from my family. Thanks to our generous PC Guatemala Administration, I was able to travel for a couple of days with friends without using vacation days! The part of the country to which we traveled was so awesome and filled with natural/cultural beauty. It was quite a fun trip and experience. At our thanksgiving dinner, we had everyone go around and say what they were thankful for and do their best turkey gobble. I didn't know some people had it in them. I'm so thankful for all the new lifelong friends I have made in Peace Corps and that we were able to all celebrate this year together.

Since Thanksgiving, I have traveled to several meetings with Peace Corps and got to go visit Lake Atitlan with friends. Life has been pretty busy and I have traveled so many hours by bus over the last couple of weeks. Tonight my older brother, Hunter will be getting to Guatemala for a ten day visit. We are going deep sea fishing and exploring different parts of Guatemala. I'm excited to get to show where I have been living this last year of my life and for him to get to experience the life here. Anyway, just a couple of more weeks and I will be home in the States for the holidays. I can't wait!
