Update!!!

So finally I am updating this thing... My computer is still broken but i´m working on getting a different one. However, thankfully I have an internet cafe in my town and live semi-near Antigua, which has fast internet. I don´t really know how I will post pictures but I will. L ast week we went to Baja and Alta Verapaz for field based training for a week. We met several current volunteers and saw where they live, which was pretty enlightening. Our life at site is going to be much different than training. We had no hot water for a week and used latrines. I ended up getting sick and didn´t get better until Monday or Tuesday and then ended up having bad dizziness for several days. But thankfully now I am back healthy! I´ll update more about our trip last week with pics sometime later. This week we started making swings for our park out of tires with our counterpart. It was pretty fun and he is excited about it so all is good with our project. We are going Monday morning to chop down some trees for materials. All is well and the ball is rolling. Now all the trainees are worried about their future sites so that consumes much of our conversations. Got to go now. .....will update again soon.
